...anyone watch the first half of it last night? I doubt that many wakeboarders watch this kind of thing, but I was just checking.
My two favorite groups were one first and second last night...Working and terriers....how 'bout that Neo

| I watch it every year, it makes me miss showing dogs so much though. I haven't been able to because of college. My group is up tonight, the Sporting Group. Last night I really liked the Standard Poodle and the Dalmatian, both beautiful dogs. I knew that Great Pyrenees was going to win Working, lovely dog with a great show record. Can't wait till Best in Show tonight!

I thought the Rottie had a shot at working. They Pyranese was very nice, though and you're right about that dobe Itch. The Neo Mastiff could be one of the strangest looking dogs ever!
The Terrier's are always one of my favorite. The colored bull was nice and of course the Staffie's and AmStaffs get no love.

| Yeah the Pyrenees won the Working group, the Dobe was 2nd, the Great Dane 3rd, and the Boxer 4th. The Mastiffs are in the Working group which was on last night, but I think they re-run it sometime during the day.

We're waiting for the sporting group tonight. Some of my family watched it last night, but we're big Cocker Spaniel people.

Here is Casey (Jaxson's dad)
And Jaxson when he was about 6 months old, only good pic I could find of his face

WOW that GSP nailed it! What a gorgeous dog -- and what charm! The Great Pyr was stunning and you gotta love Bloodhounds. The handlers certainly have a challenge trying to work with certain "non-working" breeds.
Grace - did you see the Duck Tolling Retriever? Very sweet, and your golden up above is one good lookin' boy.

Sorry to spoil it for some of ya.....but that German Shorthaired Pointer was very impressive.... Best of Show was deserving. But I did like the Bloodhound as well.
Not a fan of the "Rat" group......just a bunch of snacks for the Working dogs

That GSP was amazing, she just nailed her self-stacks and was very on tonight. I have never been a big fan of her handler though, but she showed a lot better tonight than she has in the past. Two years in a row for her too, since she won last year with the Newfoundland. I personally liked the Bloodhound, beautiful colors, but he didn't show as well as the GSP. I could tell from the start that the judge liked that GSP! Liz, I did see the Toller! I love that dog, he is so cute. One of the nicest Tollers I have seen actually. I was glad the Golden took 4th in the Sporting, he's actually related to both my Goldens too

I caught the best in show...but missed the hounds which I like to see.
I agree that GSP showed the best and the self-stack was unbelievable. I really thought the bloodhound had something though. A great looking dog.
I've only been to a few dog shows. Usually just specialties for breeds which I'm interested in so it really never gets boring. Plus, getting to meet all the breeders and so many different dogs really helps when it comes to making decision about who's gonna be your right hand man for the next 10-15. Going to a 3 breed specialty in Chicago in a two weeks. I'll be sure to get lots of pics.
