the biolite is a foam core(heavier) and the dna is balsa wood (more responsive). I've tried both the weight is about the same but the dna will really buck you off the wake if you load it up.

DNA is also more flexible and the DNA Boards land softer.

The Bio2 and DNA are pretty comprable in weight.. not even close to a pound though, parks143dna had it right with the responsiveness aspect of it all its not really a weight issue. A few years back when DNA just came out it was def lighter but hyperlite just keeps making the biolite better

Just get the Bio-Lite. The DNA isn't as strong, falls apart on rails. And the Price isn't worth paying.
Just get the Bio-Lite, you won't regret it. _________________ www.Crawlinbc.com |

Would all of this still hold true as you get to the larger boards? I'm looking at a 141 premier and haven't decided if I want to spend the extra money on the DNA over the biolite.
