its important or not the ''size chart'' if i buy this board what will be the consequence?? if there is..

bigger is not always bad though. There are actually more benefits than downfalls with a larger board.
*more surface area=better plane*
*better plane=faster into the wake*
*more speed+more surface area=more pop*
*bigger pop+more surface area=solid landings*
...the difference between a 138 to a 143 is like what....a coule of inches??
Big deal. Go with a bigger board IMO. |

| K-dub, but IMO, a big board hurts your performance...so much more weight/swing weight that you tire out much faster. Slower spinning also. I guess it depends on your style. |

smlparksguy133, don't get me wrong...maybe I should've clarified a bit more.
I'm not saying he should go with the 143, but should look into a bigger board in his size range. Like go with the 138 over the 134...
I'm not a big believer in this whole swing weight thing. In my years of riding boards, I have come to my own conclusion that having a slightly larger board wont effect the way you spin enough to make a difference in how you ride. And, whos to say that a big slow spin is bad? I actually respect that kind of spinner than someone who's out there spinning as fast as they can. There's just so much style in a big slow spin...throw a stinky grab in there and I can watch them all day long.
Smaller boards just don;t have the speed and stabilty to make that little bit of less swingweight worth it...IMO, again. |

again, I guess its all opinion in style. I also like slow big styly spins but some like to throw fast spins or 7's or whatever so depending on how you ride, pick your size. |

You are going to tire much faster if you are riding low in the water with a small board due to all the drag. The weight difference in the air will have a neglibible impact on how tired you get.
You also talked about rotation speed. You kind of contradict yourself by saying you like the smaller boards but want the slower rotation. Plus, you should have pretty good control of how fast your rotate regardless of the board size. |

I enjoy riding both larger and smaller boards depending on my mood. Weird, I know. Here's the thing, I ride my substance 136 most of the time, and I absolutely love it. However, my brother has a team 134 that *feels* a lot more edgey(is that a word? ) and it feels like it transitions a lot quicker than the substance. It feels a little easier for me to whip around in the air for tweaking garbs and stuff but it's definitely a bit more harsh on the landings. All in all, I like them both, but I'll stick with the larger substance for now. _________________ Weight it, Gas it, Crank it, and just rip. |

You should really try a larger board, in our crew we have some pretty big people that rode smaller boards till we got em to demo larger ones. |

| churchy, I just like the feel of smaller boards. You can still do spins slow with a small board but the main reason I like small boards are fast turns/quick to get on edge and overall control. The drag situation may be true but I find that It tires my calves REAL fast when I turn onto my HS edge from flat. Just my .02 |

| Try boardstops boardfinder see if their sizing comes out differently compared to your ability. I dont really like larger boards i like the smaller ones because they are lighter and more manuverable. |

i dont think the height matters as much as the weight. Cause it doesnt matter how tall you are if you get a board so big that you cant get off the ground. Im thinking that you should go for a 139-140 cm board. I'm 6'1'' , 130 pounds and i ride a 138 so... _________________ show_boy08 |
