dual monitor(yea i know another)

sorry bout posting bout this twice, but how do you hook the second monitor up? my video card says it is able to power dual monitors but i only have one port.

it would really help if we knew what kind of video card you have (brand AND model no.) also, is this a desktop?

my guess is in your case, you need to get a special y-adaptor plug from the company who makes your card.

uh. i kind of doubt that your on-board graphics will support dual displays. after 2 seconds of research, it seems that the motherboard will accept a graphics card that will do dual monitors (meaning it has an available AGP slot).

i have no clue though. how long ago did you buy it? where did you get it from? can you ask them?

i just got the computer not too long ago. Also what does DDR mean as far as video cards go?

DDR - Double Date Rate; supposedly aka "twice as fast" even though it literally means "about 40%ish more"
