| baby shampoop....doesn't wreck boots like normal soap.....also, go to a pharmacy and ask for glycerin...cheap, instantly dissolves and not smelly at all. put it in a spray bottle.....o, and by the way, most binding lube is glycerin and colouring |

Just use soap, if you wash it out you will be fine and make sure there is no bubbles of soap left. _________________ www.Crawlinbc.com |

Liquid*Force*Rider, no way man soap is death on neoprene, it leaves a residue that when combined with UV from the sun fries bindings
Ctipping, pretty good advice
ac88926, do what I do, buy a big @ss jug of it, them mix it 50-50 with water, plenty enough slide, and it lasts twice as long, we put ours in Zep squirt bottles _________________ TEAM PIRATE, AAAARRRGGGHHH YOU READY?

there have been a million threads on this. The basic conclusion from them all is:
Soap: Dries out bindings. Can lead to cracking.
Shaving cream: bad for the environment.
The glycerin advice here is good and will work without side effects. But I just buy the 1 gallon juggs online. It takes a couple years to go through a gallon. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

I have been experimenting and found that (3) 4 ounce tubes of Generic KY Jelly to about 1/2 gallon of water works great. A tube costs 1.80 at Walmart so you're into it for around 6 bucks. It's water soluble so it clears out of your bindings pretty quick. The water thins it out so it can still be sprayed with a regular spray bottle but stays slick enough to use.
I ended up making a gallon by the time I was done mixing, the cashier looked at me funny when I showed up with 8 tubes of KY at the register and nothing else. _________________

Ctipping, sorry I meant I buy the real stuff online. It's not really that expensive and it's no hassle. I think I got a gallon of lava for $30. Been through a season and a half and I'm not even halfway through. So it's really not that expensive. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Wire pulling lubricant works really well , not greasy & washes off in water. You can buy it at home improve stores like Lowes or Home Depot in the electrical section or at an electrical supply store. _________________ Hey yall, watch this! |

anyrhing slippery can basically be used for binding lube... It may not be the most environmentally safe, but soap works...also shaving cream, hair gel and other gels work... The best to go with has to be the lube though... Mix it half and half with water to make more for less!!! _________________ ~~ "Half our life is spent trying to find something to do with the time we have rushed through life trying to save." ~~
