Hey guys, I'm new to the site!

I'm from Ireland and want to go away on a wakeboarding summer holiday.

I've done a bit of boarding. I can only do two tricks and haven't had any air yet but full of the no fear factor and willing to learn as much as possible!

Would like to go to the states somewhere and work in a shop/retaurant and spend the rest of my time wakeboarding and meeting some American boarders. Any suggestions as to where I could go?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Orlando would probably work out pretty well for you, lots of lakes and the cable. Also lots of service industry type stuff so you could probably find a job.

west coast or the south would be perfect for you. around the great lakes (where i live) there isn't too many people who wakeboard, but they're out there. i think wb.com has a need a ride forum. hit that up and see what happens.

Definitely NOT the west coast, first you wouldn't be able to find a job (I know, I'm here), second you wouldn't be able to find a ride, Definitely Orlando.
