THERE IS NOT ONE BEST BOARD COMPANY!!! If you think there is than you are just wrong. What makes Hyperlite better than Jobe? They are made at the same place with the same materials. If you limit yourself to only buying 1 brand you will probably never find the best board FOR YOU.

i had a hyperlite and a double up boards i liked the double up more , but that is just me you should demo boards for yourself. what ever you do dont choose a board on how other people like it . my friend did that and wasted about 3 bills on that board

The best thing you can do is go demo alot of boards. It's not just the brand there are some liquid force boards i love and some i hate, there are also some cwb's i love too. The best advice is go to your local board shop and check out what they have to offer and what they recommend to you.

I would go for liquid force....great service, great boards....great people.....Take a look at the new omega for an all-around board. it makes the decision easy. don't know what you want in a board? Get the omega. it's the best of all worlds

Im riding a 2004 Jobe 138 Eisenhauer and I love, nice thing is, you feel like you have control, if you want to edge, takes little effort, board it very light and it feels like I have nothing on my feet.

Liquid force has the light boards, Hyperlite has the most available styles and options, but the best board is your favorite. my best board is the LF substance

Yeah Im about to buy my first wakeboard and Im not extremely new at it...Ive been a lot and Im not too bad at it and I was wondering what board would be good for easy control and cutting in the water...and maybe even lightness, if thats even a word...Cause I really dont know much about wakeboards...Im trying to learn, but This will be my first purchase of one...Ive got about 400 bucks to spend all together...so does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a hydroslide and I just got a Hyperlight for my b-day. Honest opinion Hydroslide rocks for starting out!!! But thats about it. Once you get decent enough I recomend getting a Hyperlight(just because I have one, I was not paid to say this Crying or Very sad ) or any other style of pro board. But i second the motion of try them out for yourself. Wink

I bought my board at Costco about 4 years ago, Jobe board weighing in at what feels like 50lbs, and the good ol' sandal bindings. I busted up my ankles numberous time with them things so I picked up some hyperlite bindings and through them on there...gets the job done..very ugly board Embarassed with some comfy binding...ahhhh I'd probley be spending some money on a new one soon here...but she was a great starter of only $100!! Very Happy
