Camera Software Question

I have been checking out video cameras on Ebay and am about to bid on one, but I have a question. They all seem to come with a software cd of some type for the camera and this one doesnt. Is it really important? Whats usually on it? and if need be can I get one from somewhere?

maybe the drivers, but those can be downloaded on the internet at the manuf. website. Some cameras might come with a free demo or basic video editing or photo editing, depending on whether it is a still or video camera. Nothing to important.

Good.. I don't know a whole lot about video cameras and I was worried it was something important. I just checked Sony's website and they have all the drivers on there, so I will dowload them from there. Thanks for the help.

depending on how old it is it you should need the drivers it should be a PnP 9plug and play) thats for most newer sonys my sony handycam is PnP
