I've never heard of one either but apparently he has one. Hmmm...

I fought my board for a long time before someone told me a little trick for getting up on the board. I started on a 140 and was 220.

Lay back in the water with your knees bent, try to show the bottom of the board to the people in the boat. I don't mean literally out of the water showing them, however; the bottom of the board should be facing the rear of the boat and partially above water.

Now heres the trick...Hold the handle with an over hand grip with your arms fully extended and put the knee of your lead leg between the elbows of your extended arms. As you feel the pressure against the board as you start the pull move the heel of your other foot down towards the bottom of the lake.

This will initiate the twist you need to start planing the board in line as you come out of the water.

VERY IMPORTANT...have your driver pull slowly...not too slow...but slowly. The driver doesn't need to slam the throttle open just because were big. Once you get up it sticks with you and you will be suprised how easily a wakeboard planes. The first time I tried this it almost worked but the handle was pulled from my hands. I told my driver to pull slightly slower and I popped right up the second time. You just have to find the starting pull that is right for you.

Don't stand up too early and let your knees hit your chest.
