G'day guys, im just new too wakeboarding and this forum. I just wanted to know if anyone could provide me with some advice aas to what i might be doing wrong. When i go to jump the wake heelside or toe side i am unsure if i should flatten out my board just before the wake or keep the edge and simply stand tall. I seem to get off axis a lot and getting pulled over the rope.... any help would be great Question

Flattening out is what makes you off axis, make a gradual aproach towards the wake, keep your edge, and stand up at the wake.

Wicksy,

If you are getting pulled over the front this usually happens from one of two reasons: You need to keep your head up, don't try to look down where you are going to land. Your body follows your head, if you are looking down you will go down. The other thing is when go off the wake make sure you pull the handle to your hips. This is where your center of gravity is so if the handle is above it i.e. your arms are out straight your body is likely to get pulled over the front. Just my 2¢

Basically all you need to do is try to land the way you took off of the wake, if that makes any sense. This will keep you on your edge so you don't crash or fall off axis.
