just wondering if anyone is doing this and how much of a difference they felt it made?
Thinking of rounding the edge near the middle and leaving the sharper edge at each end.. Hopefully it will help with lip tricks but keep my tracking good.
Any thoughts? _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

Definitely a good idea to round them off in the middle then sharper towards the tips... that's what this board was made for, but so many people aren't comfortable customizing their deck, they like having it done for them... shape them _________________ ...island style... |

I think erich said he has the variable edge design that you're speaking of on his deck (rounded in the middle, sharp on the ends). I personally couldn't say how much the rounding helps because I didn't want to touch mine (for personal reasons). A lot of people seem to like the rails as they are...but it's all personal preference.
Realistically, you could round them and then sharpen them...you know whatever. But have at it because options are good.
Scott, did you change your rail shape at all? _________________ J.L.A. Is Snowboarding

i havent changed my board at all. i have been thinking about rounding the middle slightly, but before i do that i wanna ride a cassette a bit more to make sure that a blunt(er) edge is something i really want/need. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com
