just took some pics but cant upload them they are too big

i just took a few pics but when i went to upload them they were over the size limit is there any way around this

Resize them and compress as needed in Photoshop or some similar photo editing program.

i have photoshop 7.0 but i only got it recently and i am still figuring it out. would winzip or other file compressing programs work

wake_quake, Put It into paint and click on Sketch Skew and type in 60 and 60 in each box and hit ok, It should make It smaller.

Open up your image in PS and do a "save for the web".

Set the image size so that it's no larger then 1000 pixels, keep the porportions the same. Dial down the quality slider until you're under 100kb and click OK.
