well we just got a new left-over 2002 SAN. I think I have read in previous posts about clarion cd player problems. Well I think mine has a problem. It doesnt read half the cd's and gives an error with various numbers. such as er-6. Do a lot of these things do that, and will clarion replace it? thanks

Are they burnt CD's? My older CD player doesn't like burnt cd's, it gives out error messages too. I think it is just a format thing...
But seeing how it is a brand new boat, take it back to the dealer! That should be covered. I doubt it would be all that hard for them to swap it out with a new one if yours is found to be defective.

I play burned CD's in my 2002 Team Edition all the time, in fact it's all I will bring to the boat....I have never had a problem..
You should have a 5 year warranty on basically the entire boat.

Error 6 means that the disc has been loaded upside down and is unreadable, assuming you didn't stick it in upside down then more than likely the foreign object sensor is bad, take it back to the dealer and get a new radio.

I didnt install it, it came installed on the boat, and its not upside down. Like i put a brand new cd in there, and it played the first track, then errored on the second one. It will sometimes play a cd, but its not consistant at all. I guess we are gonna just get it replaced.

Mine works fine with both regular and burned Cd's.
