Looks like santa got into computers and digital video...
Computer:
Cpu upgrade: XP3000 333fsb
Cpu fan: Gigabyte cooling pipe
Memory: 1x 512 DDR ram, bring me up to 1gig
LCD: 19in Philips 12ms response time 500:1 contrast ratio lcd
Video:
Panasonic GS400 with 2 lenses, 3 filters, case, 2 tripods, 5 miniDV tape, one of those ebay packages.

You gotta stay on top of your apple products man! The G5 imac is apple's solution to the high price of their other comps. Perfect for college students, or anyone who wants a mac but can't pay the price of a full G5. Also, it takes only the space of a flat pannel monitor. I would never get one, but it was a smart move on apple's part to offer something cheaper.
I'm still drooling over the dual 2.5's and the 30" display. I want to have its babies. My grandma (that's right, she's 81) just picked one up. She's a complete apple fanatic. She was one of the first people to get the 22" flat panel display's. I'm hoping to get her hand me down's when she upgrades again. Unfortunately that probably won't happen for a while. |
