Hey , I've been looking at digital cameras and have just gotten tired of the shitty ones I've gotten for Christmas and whatnot, the Sony Cybershot looks like a slick high end camera. My friend has one and I messed around with it, and I liked it a lot. Do you think its worth the 450-499 I've seen it on sale for? Is there something better I should look at? Thanks for your help/ripping into me like I expect half these posts to do Rolling Eyes

you're going to have to be more specific. All of Sony's digital cameras are known as "cybershots" you'd have to get a model number for us to look at specifically.

My fiance has an old cybershot it's like 4 years old 1.3 megapixels. It's been a good camera but it won't take an instant shot. It always delays a few seconds after you press the button. This is something I would test when I was looking at them at the stores. It's really difficult to take wakeboarding shots with a delay.

SMCboarder, A friend just got the 5 megapixel Cyber. I'll probably be replacing my 3.2 mp elph with it when the time is right. But I'm really tempted right now, it was a lot of fun to play with.

My bad wakeboard, I'm talking about the -Cyber-shot® Digital Camera
DSC-T1. Its the camera with the big screen on the back (the one in the commercial with the girls all freaking out to take a picture of the guy walking by) That's the specific model I tested and am interested in.

Are you looking for something compact or something a little bigger that will give you better pictures
