I have a 2002 22i and wanted to know how much weight you guys are running with. I was thinking of placing 350lb sacks in each side of the rear compartments and one up front, is this enough or go more....... Question Thanks!

i had that exact setup in my 2100v but didn't do much good. from my experience with tige i have not been able to get a nice wake with that 2100v. i put 1800lbs all throughout the boat in every setup i could think of and could not get the wake to clean up. i've heard people say you can't add more than 1000lbs to the tige or it will be whitewashed, but i tried that too. because of this i am selling the boat i bought last summer for a brand new boat.

I owned a 21V and I ride behind a 22i all the time. Here is the best weigth setup:

22i: Two 500 pounds sacks in the rear hatches. Fill them as full as you can(probably about 400 pounds), and one 500 pound sack in the bow. This is about as much weight as you are going to want in that boat.

21V: Two 500 pound sacks in the rear hatches. However, this is the key. Push them as far forward under the seats as you can. The back of the sack will be a foot or more from the back of the storage compartments. You can then put a 350 pound sack in the bow, OR two 200 pound sacks under the bow cushions.

The older Tige' are very sensitive to weight. You have to make sure to weight them right. With the new Tige' hulls you can add as much weight as you want. I now own a 22V.

This is our set up in our 2002 2100V:

350 pounder in each rear compartment. One 550 in the walkthrough and then we usually have 4 or 5 people and the wake is very nice. (We put the 350 as far up as we can like porter explained.)

mike that is exactly what I do but I wondered how far forward into the bow you put the 550? all the way forward or back by the driver seat? I have it by the drivers seat now but havent tried it further up front.

On the 22i you can put 350lbs in each of the rear hatches and 250lbs under each front seat in the bow area.

We put the 550 as far up as we can. The front touches the cup holders on the floor and sometimes goes over them.
