Hopefully, these photos will post ok. I've had trouble in the past posting them. I need your thoughts, opinion, ideas and suggestions about some racks that I've made. They're not the greatest looking things, but they might just work fine. I got the idea from someone on this site. Thanks to whoever you are. I need some good suggestions about how to affix the racks to my pylon and how high they should be mounted. I don't want the rope getting hung up in the bindings on the top board.

Also, I have questions for those of you who use board racks on a pylon.
1. They all look like good head bangers. Is this a problem?
2. Does the rope get caught in the bindings of the top board?
3. If you are sitting in the observer seat enjoying someone else's ride, does the board hanging in the bottom rack (with bindings down) obstruct your view?

I'm sure I'd figure all of these out when I used the racks, but I'm trying to prevent them before I get out on the water.
Thanks

Sweet man! You got the idea from yours truly. Glad that my post was helpful for you. I attached mine to my tower with 3/8" bolts. I had to drill the tower though, but it holds really well - no rattling at all. Here's a more detailed picture of how I did it.....
Make sure to use rubber bushings between the tower and the rack, so it won't scratch or rattle at all.

Looks pretty good guys. Over the winter I made a board rack for extended pylons that is similar to the skylon design. It is made out of UHMW poly. I have yet to try it out on the water, but a buddy of mine made one a couple of years ago and it works great. I'll upload some pics when I get a chance.

WTF? Got Meth? Am I missing something here, or was that just totally random?
