The US just tested the first MOAB, the largest explosive based bomb in our arsenal. Rumsfeld said its part of our 'psychological warfare' we will use against Iraq, it will basically be used as a scare tactic. Its just a guided heavy explosive bomb, nothing more, but they said the detonation alone will be enough to convince any Iraqi troop to surrender (the few left that don't surrender right off the bat). Anyone without access to CNN will think its a nuclear bomb because of the noise and sheer size of the mushroom cloud. They can pinpoint anything like a bunker, or they can just drop it out in the middle of the desert mid-afternoon and let it scare the #$% out of anyone within 20 miles.

A bomb dropped for the sole purpose of actually trying to decrease war casualties on the opposing side. And one better than that, they hope the video footage of the test bomb will make its way to Iraq- the test detonation alone will result in a lot of Iraqi's re-thinking any plans for counter-action. We may not even have to drop one anywhere besides Pensacola, FL. Pretty impressive tactic huh.

For sure, bro! I was also reading about the ability of the MOAB to suck all the oxygen out of the detonations surrounding area. If Hussein sets the oil wells on fire (sure he will), in theory, the bombs could actually extinguish some of the fires Idea

But who needs to really use it when just the tape i'll scare the crap out of you Shocked
