can any of you make any suggestions on a good wireless lapel microphone for conducing interviews, capturing audio of lectures, etc?

I figure I'll need to spend between $150-$300.

Can't go wrong with Sennheiser, however you're looking at about $500
Other, cheaper stuff should run about $350-400.

Another option is to rent.. most places charge $50/day. Which is great if you need it over the weekend, tell them you just need it for saturday and they'll let you pick up on Friday and return on Monday, and you'll only get charged for one day.
