My first "slider" (if thats what you want to call

I built this in like 2 hours at my lakehouse over the summer in michigan. Used an old plastic dingy, old innertube, pvc scrap, and some rope =D Hurt myself on it alot but at list I could attempt to slide something. The pictures are of my cousin, bc no one would take pictures of me hitting it. My digital camera sucks. I plan on building a large floating flatbar, but currently I'm broke and winter is closing in...

When I actually hit it it was very stable. You can't see, but there are 2 tubes and it seemed to hold well. One problem we did have though was we didn't anchor it well at all and boat wakes could easily change the direction of it. 15lbs mushroom anchors are not made to hold sliders. Next time I'm going with like 6 cinder blocks or something. Also, since I didn't nail anything or screw anything together, the rope got knocked loose frequently. So every like four or five times over we would have to retighten it.

Think about it though, kids bashing their faces in on sliders all day, who wouldn't watch that?

im not saying that you suck at sliders or anything im just saying someone has to crash eventually

I'm not going to lie to you, I suck at sliders and bashed my face in repeatedly. My cousin had some unnatural ability to hit it though. He was able to front lip, back board, 50-50, as well as spin on and spin off of it. Damn him and his skateboarding background....
