How much do you pay per year?
What year and kind of boat do you have?
How many drivers are under the plan?

I'm asking b/c I'm trying to get a boat for the club I'm starting at my school, I have a meeting set up and I need some decent numbers before I go in.

$350 Boat US Yahcters Insureance, Deductible $150

96 Prostar 190

I live in the costal region, and had to plead liek hell to get non-coastal rates, if not it would have been $1200. they may try to do this if you r near the coast or great lakes.

I have no lay-up period...ski safe made me have one

Valued boat @ 17k if totaled Smile

28 y/o perfect driving record.

The price for a personal watercraft is going to be different from state to state and the value of the boat has alot to do with the premiums also.

With a ski school you're talking about a commercial policy and that will be higher than personal.

Wakebrad, he can be Holderbee again.

mcfatty, It's for a wakeboarding boat, make to be decided later. Its not a school its for a club at my school.

I have a meeting on monday and I need to figure this stuff out. Thank you very much everyone.

Also, does the insured need to be in the boat at all times?...how would I get multiple people insured under it?...I'd only need like 3 or 4 peeps insured under it.

Bowen, I don't know if you need proof of liability insurance in CA. In Texas you don't.

When I called and got the quote I just told them 2 people and gave the information on them. You'll need a lot of info about them so it would be easier if they were present. But I'm not even sure you have to have their name on the policy anyways... I don't know how that works

BTW where did 'holderbee' come from?

$625 annually - includes coverage for named storms
'04 CC 211TE
All
Located in Florida
Note that Ski Safe does not provide named storm coverage for policies in Florida - basically they exclude hurricanes

Other key rate factors are your're age, years of boating experience and driving record....

I miss read it, but you're going to have a hard time finding insurance with four or five 19, 20 year old guys.

$257.00 a year from Progressive for a 1998 Calabria and trailer. Coverage is for 12 months with $500. deductibles. The policy is also rated for an agreed value of the boat and trailer with disappearing deductibes and includes full fuel spill liability. I do not have any other policies with Progressive. Call around to get a quote for your club.
