Helmets that is. I hear about concussions, busted ear drums, headaches, etc., yet I never see pics of people with helmets on. Confused Is the helmet just not needed unless you are doing some hellish tricks or sliders? or is it just more cavalier to ride without one.......breakin' the law, breakin' the law! Twisted Evil

people usually wear them when they are hitting sliders, but some wear them all the time...it's personal preferance.

They are a must on sliders and kickers but most people don't wear them for normal boarding. I would recommend It If you are going huge like Pros and falling alot, but If your working on basic wake jumps and stuff, I don't think one is necessary.

well if its against the law wouldnt it be a good idea to get a helmet Question

anyway, people have some nasty falls with concussions, and boards taking chunks out of peoples heads but unless your doing the impossible, a helmet would just be precationary (sp?)

wearing a helmet while boarding is a law in TX? i personally dont think a person needs to wear one if theyre not hitting rails/kickers. concussions and boards to the head are just part of the experience.

lol...wearing a helmet isn't a law in Texas.....the breaking the law thing was just a reference to doing something "wild and crazy"............didn't mean to imply an illegality.

Normally I would say no because it is going to be in the 60's, but since I have seen all those northern boys going out there in damn near freezing temps.....I may bundle up and take a shot at it if the wind isn't too bad.........You interested?
