Is Les Claypool in String Cheese Incident? For some reason that band name sounds familiar but I don't know why. If he is then that'd be why I know it.

I forgot to mention that I was HIGHLY disappointed by George Clinton & the P-Funk All Stars. Same thing as Dave Matthews, every song is 30 minutes so it gets old real fast. Add to that the fact that they came on 2 hours late & didn't sound all that good, you got a crappy evening. To this day it's the only show I've ever walked out on.

I didn't think Alkaline Trio was that bad. Given they were really drunk and forgot some lyrics but all in all it was a good show.

Ryan, go for it! I just can't get into them as much as some people... I saw them at the Bronco Bowl, which isn't a great venue for them to play at anyway.

I suggest you go, you very well may have a great time...

I went to the blink Greenday concert in atlanta last year and Greenday was great but Blink sucked in my opinion. The only good part is when they fliped the drum set.

Ryan, go for it!! I suggest you see them, maybe you'll get a better show than I did. I was in a crappy venue (Bronco Bowl), so that may have been part of it.

Worst concerts... David Allan Coe was horrible. He went for playing "darling" to singing "the real slim shady". That was just crap. most everything else has been good. Back in 97 I saw incubus, sugar ray and 311, that was by far the best concert I have been to. If you have the chance of seeing them go for it.

Ah.....Incubus is one of my favorite bands and I would love to see them live. Red Hot Chili Peppers too!!

Hoobastank played at the club I work at back in November. The venue holds 600 full capacity-it was a great show. Completely sold out and a great vibe.

Bad Religion and Erasure are coming in April (seperate shows of course) to the club I work at. Showed be off the hook.

NOFX played on campus last semester during the Rock the Vote campaign. They were a surprise concert. Didn't get a chance to see it all though.

yeah hoobastank is also a great live band. ive seen them a bunch of times and they always had tons of energy and a great vibe.

B-rad i wish i could have been to that incubus/sugar ray/311 concert. if i could see any concert it would THAT concert (in 97) so i could hear more of the older stuff live.

I have flown to the mainland twice to see them (at about $600.00 a trip), worth every dollar.

Mobius: They put on the best shows I have ever seen, without a doubt. I had a few VHS bootlegs of shows they did, and I was always impressed with them, but they were circa Aeinma era shows, when I finally saw them (they didn't come to OZ of 5 years!) live, just after the Lateralus release, I was blown the f*ck away. This show is over the top in every possible way. Purely hipnotic. I won't even begin to describe the stuff they do, words fail.

Then they returned about 11 months later, and I knew I had to see it again, so once again I jumped on a plane and spent the weekend in Melbourne, just to see them. And this time the show was even BETTER! (although the sound was marginally poorer Sad ) The second time I went, i had had a bit to drink, and I regret it completly. I just zoned out a few times and missed some stuff. This is a show you want to see straight if you want to take it all in. Especially at $75 a ticket.

The best live performer period... JAMES TAYLOR.... he sounds better live than on his CD....

I have not seen any bad live shows, of course I only go to quality shows to begin with.

Buffett ,Metallica, James Taylor, Pearl Jam, Lenny Kravits (SP?)
Are some of the last shows I saw....

Aubs- My thoughts exactly!!! I saw them when they played here in San Francisco at the Warfield. I loved every minute of the show. We were in the mosh pit the entire time. So much energy!!!

I acquired some stories of my own from the night.....I am still being made fun of to this day. Let's just say my date was holding my hair for me by the end of the night. I learned three things that night-Papa Roach rocks live, things don't always work out as you plan and when it comes to goldschlager, what goes down will come back up! Shocked

Kyle, I agree with SCI being better than widespread.... but neither one of those really get me going...

If you haven't ever, or if you get a chance to, go see Moe. Those guys know what's up...
