OK, so when i come in for a tantrum, come in hard and "switch" to toeside, right?
No matter how many previous posts i have read, or videos watched i can't work the switch out. So is the switch similar to doing a powerslide when coming into the bottom of the wake, thus lining me up parallel for the flip. This is the only way i can think of the switch to get it straight in my head, but is it right?

cut out and edge back in like a mofo, then what you do is let off your edge and as you pop off the wake throw your backhand off the handle squareing your shoulders up to the wake.

You do kind of collapse at the wake, but you still want to lift off of it- dont rely 100% on the 'trip flip' or you wont get a good release or good pop. Charge it hard, drop your rear hand as you near the wake, then square your shoulders as you are riding up the wake. Your hips should naturally follow and boom you get kicked up. If you think too much about switching to your toeside edge, you will have some ugly spills

| Blindside_137, you do that to kind of start the trip flip. It is hard ot explain, but thats how you actually square up the board to the wake. If you picture yourself switching to ts edge that will make you do the trip flip.. if you have any idea what i am talking about...

Don't even think of it as switching to your toes or you will take off way wrong and way early. Just think of pushing your front foot away from the wake as you push off the wake. When people say to change your edge, you will usually end up missing the lip and that's the most common mistake in a tantrum. Just push your front foot away from the wake and make sure your head isn't turned to one side.

Just imagine doing a back flip on a trampoline- thats all it is. Once you get the feel for it then you can work on polishing it.

i found that he easiest way to do them was is to cut way out then take a quick turn right back in towards the wake, then when your just going through the trough at the bottom of the wake start to drop your back hand and look up and backwards.
by the time this is done you'll be in the air.
taking the quick turn at the begining should give you enough speed to land in the flats
