O.K. so the heading may be a little misleading Embarassed .....I was at the lake and got a chip on the edge. I took it up to the local shop and the guy said I needed to epoxy it so the balsa wood wouldn't take on water which would make the board heavy. He really didn't give me any fix tips....if anyone knows how to fix this I would appreciate the insight. Thanks. Very Happy

I'm guessing you're talking about your wakeboard.
If so, just mix up the epoxy and put some on the area where it's chipped. Let it dry according to the instructions, then sand it down till you're happy with the repair. You can always add more, and you can always sand some away if you put too much.

West Marine sells these packets that are of small amounts. Great for snowboard repairs too!

Not sure if this would work but you may try the epoxy that golfers use to put clubs together. i am totally new so that might be a dumb thought. i have used that epxy for other stuff and it worked great.
