Check out this video I am working on.

http://photos.wakeboarder.com/showphoto.php?photo=6440&sort=1&cat=500&page=1

Let me know what you think of it, if I should change anything, etc.

sorry in advance for some of the crappy video - it was off of a HI 8 camera on a really weird lighted day. Plus the windows media compression really screwed it up. Anyone know how to fix that?

It is still being worked on, but I am looking for feedback.

thanks

try to zoom in more so you don't get the back of the boat in some of the shots, and try to make the shots with less wobble. As far as editing, throw in some fades and try to match up landings and take off's with beats in the song.

I think I have the takeoffs and landings on beats.

I can try to zoom in, but I am affraid it will just pixilate the video, but I like the Idea - I will try it and see what happens. At the end of the video I will put the anti wobble filter in to clean it up as much as I can.

dont zoom in unless you KNOW you can still have a steady shot. zooming in only exaggerates the shakiness of the camera. just practice more and you will get better at it.

dont zoom in digitally, let the camera do it. digital zoom is shtty (ie zooming with digital zoom on the camera OR with a video editer)

dont worry about the quality of the video- its on the web, its bound to look like crap. the reason why your video looks bad is because of the lighting, and there is nothing you can do now that will fix that.

dont worry about the camera. while it may not be as sharp or hip or neato as other cameras out there, it will still work fine for anything you wanna put on the web. im actually cleaning up some old camera stuff (camera that records to vhs plus some other stuff i found) so i can take it up to shasta with me this upcoming weekend...

Thanks for the info guys - I think I could put it as a larger file size and it would be better quality....I think.

I will post the final when it is done, but in the mean time keep the feedback coming.
