| Do those video camera mounts for towers really produce good shots? They look as though they would follow the rider well enough. Does anyone have any experience with them? |

The Malibu dealership here in Atlanta has one on their boat (Atlanta Inboard). It follows the rider perfectly. You should call them and ask them about the quality of the film. They have their's rigged up to where you look in the mirror and instead of the mirror, you see the rider in an LCD screen. Pretty Hot!!! _________________ "1, 2 Buckle my shoe - BUST A BACKFLIP!" |

| Damn. Now THAT'S cool. I've never thought about that, and I'm in the video production business. Seems easy enough. I may have to run up there and check that out. I'm in Carrollton - about 45mins west of Atl. |

a friend of mine has one and they do work quite well. as long as your in smooth glassy water its a very smooth shot. the downside is once you get in somewhat choppy water the boat starts to move up and down and the tower moves with it. there is no shock absorber so any movement that the boat makes will show on camera. another down side that i saw was that you really need a remote to operate the camera (ie zoom, start/stop recording, etc.).
the quality of film is only as good as the camera that is mounted on there. the mount is smooth and you can adjust how easy (or hard) the camera moves from side to side (in case you have a rider who jerks the rope around all over the place you can tighten it up so the camera wont shake as badly).
the camera is on a Sanger and i think its a V210 but im not positive. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com
