are those different color oranges? Maybe its just like that because of the lighting. I hope not. Nice boat and tower. Does Mastercraft use this tower on the new X-star or did one of the companies copy?

Jon, that's the new Boss Malibu Billet tower...sort of a copy, but not really.....and the orange is slightly off, they did'nt have the exact orange on the powder coat chart, so we went with the closest one.

Tower looks great, what tower did you have before? As far as the color, no powder coat matches the gel coat. I was already told by skylon that my yellow tower won't quite match the yellow on my boat. Did you get a discount for sporting thier sticker?

we had a Skylon Swoop on the boat first. Just took it off this week, filled the old holes and put the Boss on yesterday. There is a color that matches the boat almost exactly, but the powder-coat shop did'nt have it in stock so we ordered the next closest one.....

as for the tattoo graphic......I am personally glad that it's gone! It was actually one of the first modifications to the boat.

platform was off because the boat was being parked in the garage for the winter months. Just got rid of the teak platform and got a fiberglass one....it looks pretty nice.

You guys were out at calero today. Dude I was out there and that boat you have is so sick. We were sitting up by the dam and we could totally hear your system when we were sitting there and you guys were stopped in the middle of the lake. The stereo sounded great and that wake looked awesome.

right on, westcoast...that was us. The stereo was working good except the B-50's were'nt working for some reason, and the B-530's were wired backwards in the wiring harness. So, on the boat it sounded like crap when you turned it up.

As for the wake...I think that was the most weight we had in the boat ever! Stock MLS, 1200# in sacks, wedge, and 8 people...the wake was insane! I had to pull the wedge up...it just made the wake too lippy for my taste. I definately had some air time today. Late 180's were sooooo fun today... Wink

Atlanta, Ga is one of the fastest growing wakeboarding scenes in the country. The area has 5 lakes in close proximity of the city and 7 more with in 3 hours. The riders are all pretty close and pushing to evolve the sport. Wakeboard Atlanta.com keeps up with all the local haps with event calendars, featured riders, a message board, instruction, product review, and generally anything else you would want to know about the Atlanta goin ons. Their “Winter Bash” drew 60+ riders to a local bar for debauchery. The two current wakeboard schools are doing great and ready for another season. As well as the planned Animal Cracker school, but SMAT is under intense contract negotiations, which may cause problems. On a happier note Kyle Wells is back and riding as well as ever and Phillip Driver has had half of his bum shoulder fixed so look for these guys at the lake
