Short clip: The fall that broke my foot

I thought maybe some of you guys might want to see this too. I took off work Monday to go riding which I figured was going to be my last time of the season. Well definitely going to be the last time...last run of the day I broke my right foot. Found out later from the ortho it's badly sprained too on top of that. As you can tell from the clip it doesn't look that bad at all but can see the board gets twisted a bit. Just goes to show ya that you can fall just right on anything and mess yourself up.

I think the fact that it was cold probably as all hell that day didn't help much either.

Hope you feel better soon. I know what it is like to get hurt - that looked like a bad angle at which to fall. Just remember to exercise that foot, eat well, and mentally prepare for next season. Wishing you the speediest of recoveries.

Thanks guys. That funny blue suit is a dry suit I borrowed from a buddy. It was pretty chilly that day.

garveyj...part of the ironic part of this is that this was my last day to go out riding this season, my third and last set of the day. He pulled around and I said "oh let me go one more time" Rolling Eyes

Why o why didn't I just get my butt back in the boat then? Smile

Oh well these things happen....at least it wasn't at the beginning of the season.
