| My buddies and I just got access to a boat and we have no idea what we need to make with the wake. I am probably going to ebay and I would like to know what things to buy other than a board, rope, and bindings. If that is all the stuff I need, sorry for wasting yall's time. |

| If you dont know what you need, You probably have never Wakeboarded before or are a novice. With that said I think all you need for now is a beginner board, inexpensive vest and a rope. There is no need to buy a fat sack when the stock Wake alone will probably terrorize you. Making the wake bigger before your ready will only hamper your progress. And NO, you dont need stickers. |

You only need a helmet if you've had head problems or accidents in the past, or if you plan to go crazy and act stupid.
Don't wear gloves. You'll stick out like a newbie on the lake.
Zero stretch rope is preferable, over a waterski rope. _________________ So, I've got that goin' for me...which is nice! |

The only other thing that may help is a good instructional video. My fav is Higher Education but Wake Trix ain't bad either. You won't need these if you are riding with someone who knows what they are doing but if you are all new to the sport it won't hurt. Also, do us all a favor and search for articles on how to drive a boat properly and how to pick up a downed rider - keep the water nice for everyone! |

haha word up Lizrd . You don't need any fancy gear at all yet. Big wakes, towers, and nice boards are definently an enemy when you're just starting to learn. Just like colefooter and Hockeyplayer said. _________________ Crownsville Wakeboard Team |
