I know that you practice can raleys on a wakeskate, but what other tricks do you think would help your wakeboarding. Would 360s work or would you just fall back onto the wakeskate. Any other suggestions.

trip flip inverts probably because you dont want the board to hit you

the only thing i have learned on a skate for wakeboarding is a raley though

Bruky, no, you cut in then jump off and practice the motion of a raley with out a board.

it helps so if you don't pull your self back down you don't stop right away from the board but plummet into the water. also if won't hurt as much to get lost in the motion if you don't hold on to the handle

DOUBLE HALF CAB ROLL!

someone should try that on a wakeskate off the D-up Rolling Eyes

BTW, using a wakeskate only to practice wakeboarding is degrading to our sport and this kind of indirect disrespect is one of the many reasons wakeskating is trying to separate itself from wakeboarding Confused Shocked

I wakeskate a lot for fun, and wakeboard a little more often. But when I mess around on a wakeskate trying things that I could ONLY do on a wakeboard, I do not see it as degrading it, I see it as having fun in a laid back kinda messing around way. Now if this was the only reason for somebody ever wakeskating then that would be kinda degrading.

che blanc, i agree it would be degrading to only have a skate to pratice tricks, but when you don't want to get hurt they are life savers. not really. but the falls do hurt less when not attached to a board. so if you mess up horriable, your still breathing.

also i don't see how wakeskating could sperate from wakeboarding. sure they could get their own magizine and have a sperate pro tour, but boat sales and such. they are too much alike.
