No footage of it, but it's not like something I've only landed a couple times. When my toe is all fixed up and I get back on the water I'm going to start filming for a team video, so I'll probably get one of those in there with some kickflips and w2w bs 180s (No one believes me about the w2w bs 180 either )
Almost had a few w2w kickflips, but not yet _________________ ...island style... |

che blanc, bs 180s that is tight man. id like to see a w2w kickflip, if you can land that and get it on film youd defenitely get a sponsor. make a video i bet it would be real good! youre progressing like crazy. _________________

There is more to getting sposered than just landing good tricks. No offense, but I would think people would want to sponser someone who still wasn't in high school. So that way the person could get to all the tour stops and events and promote the company.
Che - stay with it and you'll be fine. Get to know the right people. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com

sponsorships are funny...you have a lot of guys get sponsored that can ride pretty well and can promote even better...
...and then you have WCR and parky... _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

Summit, why does it matter if they are in high school or not, they are a lot of sponsored riders who are still real young.

Oh, I thought those guys did some kind of home school. I would imagine it would be really hard to juggle public school and a professional sport. Well more power to them. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com

I'm not really concerned about getting big time sponsors and tour and all that yet... Yet. I really want to get my best tricks really solid and hit up the pro tour stop in Orlando next year. If I do good or qualify or whatever then I'll make a strong first impression in the industry. I don't want to start out chasing down company owners kissing ass for some free shirts. I wanna do it the right way.
I do want to try for some like wetsuit company or something to start with though. I'm kinda contradicting my own statements by saying that, but oh well. I've got about $15 to my name and a K39 with healivy damaged grip, so I do need to consider a small source of income, but I nearly refuse to get a conventional job
(I'm rather self-conflicted )
I'm not gonna rush into things just to get my name in a magazine and I don't really care about instant recognition. I just want to have fun with it and see how far it will take me and meet some cool people long the way.
Only bad part is that my parents, to no extent, believe realistically that I could make something of this. I'm 15 yrs. old, I can alredy stick some of the best tricks being done out there, I live on the water, I have unlimited access to a wave runner, I have several friends, that at the drop of a hat would drive over and go riding, I am more determined to make this my life than anything I've ever been sure of, and wakeskating is so young that it needs young faces to take it in the right direction.
Keep an eye out and in a few years you'll hear about me

| What would you guys call a pro rider? A kid who is sticking most of the tricks the pros are? Someone who made it to finals on the tour? Or what I would like to know the thoughts of the public. |

I think that's the literal meaning, but the term "pro" is thrown around loosely in wake sports _________________ ...island style... |
