The Winch was just used in a contest on Sunday in Orlando. Here is a photo of Byerly using it in that contest.

Its the best tool a wakeskater or wakeboarder could ever want besides a boat or pwc.

I heard they can go up to 30 mph....do a search on it for google "wakeboarding+the winch" there are several articles...god i want one i bet before long theyll have different models

wow that thing looks real sick. too bad i dont have 1400 dollars ha. i always find myself seeing little puddles and thinking, how great would it be to have a winch right now to go wakeskating.

it would be amazing for wakeksating but for wakeboarding, if you had a kicker but other than that u culdnt do much(xcept sliders)

plus if you were wakeboarding the whole part of taking off/putting on your board would not be fun. wakeskating you could just grab the handle get out in the water and go.

kevinmc, seems like ud have to have a pretty long pool for it to even be fun, unless you were doing a gap.
