|
|
So this weekend I wasnt wakeboarding so me and my friend got a sweet Idea to cross train. The has been done before but we did it with a bungee cord.
Get a bungee cord around a bike seat and hold on to the other end while on a skateboard or inlines or heelys etc.(the skate shoes) Start on flat ground or up a hill, it isnt a good idea to go downhill.(Youll catch up to the bike)Since you are using a bungee cord, it can break if under to much stress. To avoid this from happening, stand right behind the bike with the board in your hand. Have the biker start going and run behind it until you are up at about 5-8 mph. then jump on your board and ride. This way you dont yank the bike so hard that it flips.
Then you can cut around n stuff behind the bike and since its a bungee cord, when the bike accelerates they stretch the cord out a lot then you get whipped really fast. Next time I wanna set up rail on the road and hit it. I did pull some body varials and surface 3's wrapped and handle pass. It was the coolest cross training drill Ive ever done.

| Me and my friend hooked up a rope and handle to his SUV and I strapped the mountain board on and rode around the neighborhood. At first the trucks where way to loose and I got crazy speed wobble.

ive tried that but its kinda hard to get going. if the person cuts out, it pulls the bike and makes it pretty difficult. thats why i do it with cares instead.

| ya, try hanging on the back of a truck on a skateboard going 25mph. The idea sounded good until we started going down a hill and my cousin got wobbles and face planted and i hit the curb and flew 20 feet into someones yard. I wish i had video of it.
