Downloading songs off the internet

I have been using Kazaa for a while now and I am having the hardest time finding songs that actually work after I download them. Is there any way you can tell if the songs are good or not? I will download a song that's supposed to be like 4 minutes long and then when I go to play it, the length is like 8 minutes long and I can't hear anything. Is it just because a lot of people are putting corrupted files out there now or am I missing something? Also, does anyone have any better places to download songs from?

Forget kazaa. I can never find songs that aren't broken. Get Shareaza it connects to I think 4 different sharing networks. I haven't downloaded 1 song that's messed up.

It also handles torrent files too. So if you find a file search site that has torrents, shareaza will open it for yah. This is good if you're looking to download whole CDs at a time. They are usually only the super popular ones that are up tho.

If you wanted you could just dl streamed radio music, and delete what you dont want. It's leagal at least so there is no gettin caught involved.

Ive had great luck downloading harder-to-find tracks, bootlegs, live stuff, underground hip-hop. It connects to a ton of sources and bold's the good connections, so you know what will work and what wont.

Its spyware-free and doesnt burden your system much at all, check it out.

I just got the beastie bys new album of it and unlike Kazza theres no security worries or quality issues.
