Just making sure... You stay on the inside during the turn and cut back out right?

Yes....if you're riding regular and you want to hit the DUp heelside.
And if you take the first trough of the old wake your DUp won't be near as big as if you wait for the 2nd or 3rd trough. Just get ready for a huge launch.

I have a similiar question. When hitting the double up, do you want to be inside or outiside of the turn. Like do you want to cut out left and then right or out right then left for a right-handed double up and same question for a right-handed one.

you can take a double up in two directions..and you can hit one TS or HS.

so you want to cut into the inside of the turn..and then hit it heelside or toeside depending upon how you want to hit it. depending upon how you want to hit the dowble up you must turn the boat a different directions.

goofy to hit it HS you turn left
redular to hit HS you turn right

goofy to hit TS you turn right
regular to hit TS you turn left

and yes the first roller is the smallest..the second the second biggest..and the third the biggest.

savage...thanks for clearing that up. that means i have been doing them all wrong. when i go to hit it heelside(im goofy) the boat turns right. so now i know its supposed to turn left. now that i know this, do you think this will make timing doubleups easier?

yes much easier.. and they will also hit you up better. but learning to hit double ups at the right time in itself can be challenging...but once you get it down its REAL fun Twisted Evil

Once you get the timing down on double-ups that's all you want to do. The shock of the huge launch you get is incredible.
