Question about Hyperlites DNA and Biolite cores....

OK, I've got a Hyperlite TFD with the biolitecore. This is my second season boarding and I'm lovin this board.
I wondering what the "real' differences are in the wood DNA core and the Biolite core....besides the 2 obvious.
#1 DNA=lighter Biolite=heaver
#2 DNA=less durable Biolite=more durable

Whats the other differences? and are any advantages that make it worth going to the DNA core over the biolite?

DNA= better if you get a deal like i did Very Happy

but biolite=better if you dont get a deal. not really a difference at all

Yeah I've seen more than a few pros rockin my board (same as my board) I've actually seen more guys riding the Biolite version than the DNA...
This isnt a "flame Hyperlite" or any other brand topic, I'm asking a question about the different cores, thats all Rolling Eyes

..I just read all this propaganda about the DNAs being more responsive, better pop, etc, etc and I was wondering if it was that big a difference...

WCR is right. Most Hyperlite riders you see mostly ride the BIOlite version of their signature boards.

Davo.FSF, it is true. you would think theyw ould ride the DNA's anyways though if they get boards free and stuff though

I ride a premier dna because I got a great deal on it.... I've rode dna's and bio's and I know I'm gonna get flamed but I feel like I get more pop on a dna than a bio but thats just me.

DNA will give you more pop because its lighter. They fall apart on sliders thats why not many pros use them. Biolites have a very high strength to weight ratio so they wont split in two on sliders. If your gonna be hitting a lot of rails and stuff dont get DNA but, if you are primarily riding behind a boat and can find a good deal on one, get a DNA.
