Anyone out there throwin these, I could use some advice. Ive beenw workin on this trick for a while now and have only landed one. The one I landed felt totally different to me than any of the others that I throw. Usually what happens is I make the hande pass and do about a tantrum to blind and the rope gets pulled near my head. Even when I keep it close to my waist though, I usually only do a tantrum to blind. I try to pass early but I just never feel like I get the right pop. Those of you doin it, how do you throw your tantrum right off the wake, do you roll into it or do a nromal one or what? And what do you do for an approach? _________________ Whats the difference between a pickpocket and a peeping tom? A pickpocket snatches watches. |

there is also a tantrum to blind clip in my media thing that is basically the same thing except i don't take it to mobey. The only difference is in where you put the handle after you pass it. _________________ www.hyperlite.com

yea you wana load your front foot alot and have your upper body straight don't arch your back. When you get a good straight up pop the rope has a good bit less tension and the trick pretty much does itself _________________ www.hyperlite.com

yeah the one i actually hit felt so natural and easy. One more question, you start the opass early, so do you more roll into the handle or do you just pull the handle straight through and pass it like that? _________________ Whats the difference between a pickpocket and a peeping tom? actually one more too, when you throw your head back to initiate the tanturm too, do you throw it to your abck shoulder or do the noramal tantrum then after you pass look over your shoulder? _________________ Whats the difference between a pickpocket and a peeping tom? honestly, when I do them, I dont even think about spinning. I just concentrate on coming off the very top of the wake, and making a solid handlepass. thinking about getting your lead hand back on the handle will probably help you with the last 180 as well. _________________ http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=16993 one of few trips i got to make to the lake this year |

exactly Fauker, its all in the handle pass. There isn't alot of pulling to be done, you really let your body rotate into it. You do wana push it back there off the wake but it isn't like a spin. You just wana be able to grab it first then do all the work. try to get it in your hand as early as you can off the wake, if you don't have it by the time the board is over your head then it is too late.
don't throw your shoulder just look over your right shoulder and pop heavy off your front foot (assuming you are left foot forward) once you get the handle pin it to your back hip (right if you are left foot forward) and try to get your lead hand back on the handle again. Even if it doesn't make it, your rotation will speed up a good bit. _________________ www.hyperlite.com
