anybody have plans for a slider that would fit in the back of a Dodge Durango and boat, but I want to put as little as possible in the boat. I want it to be as simple as possible so it wont take long to set it up.

I was thinking using tubes for floatation, but don't know how to make the slider collapsible.

ya ive been thinkin of one too. use two tubes, spead out about 5 feet, use treated plywood with some sliding surface screwed on top and cut it down into sheets of 4 feet and hinge them together 12 to 16 feet long maybe. i would keep it in my ski compartment in my boat since no one skis anymore haha. what do you think?

A friend of mine put together a collapsable slider that we fit into the bed of my pickup. I drive a shortbed and it sticks out about 3 ft out the back. We just tie it down good. We use large styrafoam(sp?) blocks cut to fit slots that were made for it. It is kinda cool and fun sometimes but it doesn't sit very high out of the water and is definetly not stable even when anchored. I'll try and get some pics up.

I plan on building a hinged flat box using barrels to float it. I have the design drawn up, now I need the $$$ and time to build it.

Good Luck.
