question about sliders and skateboard rails.

Are sliders like skateboard rails in any way like if you can say do boardslides very well on a skate board does it feel the same on a wakeboard or is it easier?

i think it is harder on a wakeboard because the boat pulls you off the slider Crying or Very sad

i think its alot easier front and back because the board is way wider, but side to side its a pain in the ass because of the tow.
