Today is august 24th and my first day of school is tomorrow on the 25th. dreading it greatly and still having to read a whole book of summer reading (how retarded) i was real bummed. i was gonna go out and skate a little but then it started pouring. after about an hour of rain my friend called and he said lets go skimboarding. i was stoked so we went across the street into this huge park and found this real long, straight puddle in the grass next to some tall weeds. it was so sick we played skate in there and were landing 360 shove its and such. i went ditchboarding one other time behind a mule on the side of a road on a wakeskate and this was just as fun if not even more. just run, plop it down, skim and bust a move. just wanted to share my crazy day, a great way to end summer.

sounds like a good time, How was school? I was so bummed about going back on the 1st cause my bro (goes to catholic school) goes back the 9th, But now i feel damn glad i didn't have to go back that early. Still not physically or mentally ready for school, i still have to read on of my 2 summer books to. what a pile of horsesh!t

yea i found myself doing summer reading all day the last three days (except skimboarding). it rained again today so me and that same friend went back to the spot along with another guy. since we only have two boards we brought the camera along. im gonna start editing the vid soon. might be kinda boring considering theres not much variety but we'll see.

awesome video man. ditchboarding is amazing. i went to see my friend who lives in Florida in early june and we found this huge like 10 foot wide puddle on the side of the road, we set up a kicker and tiny slider and wakeskated in there it was awesome. i have that footage on video ill see if i can get it on my computer (its on a dvd) and ill have a brand spanking new skimboarding video within the next week. its awesome weve skimboarded for the past three days now (its been raining alot) and while everthing is dry this long puddle is still muddy and wet because we dug it out so much from riding.

ill see if i can get the dvd footage. the tricks arent good but its funny and looks awesome. the skimboarding is pretty sweet

im almost done. its going to be a long crazy one. i made an intro, a part for each of my two friends, and im working on my part. its already almost 10 minutes.

i just finished the video tonight. its 12 minutes long. i accidentally made it the wrong file type at first (avi) and it turned out to be a 2.5 gig video haha but i redid it and now its an mpeg. ill see if i can shrink it to get it on here.

i made a VCD (video CD) that is a CD that can be played in DVD players. i put the skimboarding video ont here along with my snowboard video and my freinds surf video. its got a menu and everything it looks real good.

i didnt know it was really skimmin. i thot you meant like just runnin and throwin a wakeskate or sumthin. in the video are you towing behind a car with the skim or a skate?

i have two videos. one from when i was in FL that one we went in a ditch with a skate behind a mule. my friend in Orlando made that vid for me. this video (the one the sequence is from) is pure skimboarding haha. man i need to get it on here. BTW, here is my friend cooper skimboarding too.

yea, those are some my friend made, fiberglassed wood and they are pretty small. we are planning on buying some blocks of foam, shaping them and fiberglassing them. probably make them a lot bigger with some more rocker. im gonna try and slash some waves next time i go to the beach.

tonight i went to home depot. my friend and i bought a 4' x 8' x 2" piece of home insalation foam for 15 bucks. thats enough for two boards each. were gonna shape the foam, paint them, then fiberglass them. should be sick. ill post pictures of the process.
