I think Lake Powell is really cool. There's a bunch to do there and see. I haven't played the video game so i don't know how realistic it is.

If you wanna see how rich some people really are, then go drive around and look at all the houseboats and yachts Shocked

Lake Powell sucks you should not come here. I mean, go to Powell. You will hate it, the water is low. It's too hot.

Okay, I'm joking. There's no place like it. When you are cutting butter at an absolutely stunning sunset with beautiful scenery. It's so perfect, it almost hurts. Unless of course you are in a storm, then batten down the hatches sailor.

Lake Powell being low right now should not stop anyone from going. Believe me. The media has made it seem as though Powell is so low that its nearly impossible to launch your boat and all this other crap. You can launch any ski or board boat easily. No problem. It can be a little tougher with really big boats, but other than that, it's easy.

I was there Aug. 19th - 28th. They water level is about 110' below full pool, but the place still absolutely rules. We found a spot to cliff jump in the main chanel and the depth was still 375'!!!! I have been going there on a houseboat for at least a week each year for the last 13 yrs. In my opion, it is heaven on earth. No other place like it for boarding, sking, hiking and just kickin it Glasses
