sounds like your taking off too much like a scarecrow(which is suppose to be the same, but for some its a tiny bit different), make sure you do as much of a trip flip as you can. It is exactly like a tantrum, except forwards. what other tricks can you do?

If it feels natural for you to turn 180 then just start working on a S.C. first, get that rotation down, and I bet you will stomp your F.R. in the next couple attempts. I learned the scarecrow first, then the Front Roll, because it seemed more natural imo.

well if u can do scarecrows then u should know why u are goin to revert.

to fix ur underrotatin ur roll....ur probably not changin ur edge fast enoug....u have to shift ur weight from ur toes to ur heels to get the "trip flip" rotation. just keep tryin it...also u might wanna learn the tantrum b4 u learn the fromt cuz u will understand how to egde if u learn the tantrum.

Tantrum 10
Try looking at your rear foot as you you get inverted. this helps turn your shoulder away a little more. think about it.
good luck

i learned a scarecrow before a front roll. Initiate the roll exactly like a crow, but keep the handle in tighter, and let go with your back hand(left hand if goofey, right if regualar) 3/4 of the way around. Thid should keep you from going to fakie

Like other people have said, I let go w/ my back hand when I'm coming out of the frontroll because when I hold on w/ both hands my back arm has a tendency to want to pull me around to a crow. And one thing that helped with getting more rotation on my front rolls was trying to grab the board. Don't know if that will help you, but that might help w/ your scarecrow rotation at the same time.

I got mine dialed now.. I think the key to it is not givinger at the wake.. about 3 quarters strength.. more means you will go outta control and clean yer eye balls or go to revert ie a scarecrow, but just do that when yer in the trough you should be thinking about letting off yer edge a little bit and cocking yer shoulders back so when you pop you can drive them forward.. Now I say look where you are landing at a diagonal at the shore.. NOT the boat and stay tucked, and keep the handle in tight and low. If you are landing and poping back out of the water.. then yer knees are too straight and should crouch lower upon landing and handle in.

Maybe this will help
