|
|
I need to pick up a board bag asap and am wondering if anyone has experiences with the following bags:
LF Team Roller
http://www.liquidforce.com/bags_teamroller.htm
Hyperlite's version of the same bag or,
Any other bag that can carry a minimum of two board/binding set ups plus gear.
Thanks. _________________ www.MidwestMilitia.net

i have a LF Weekender and it's pretty good. It has a padded divider to separate two boards with velcro straps to keep them held in tight. The whole thing is very well padded. If I was flying somewhere with my board I would feel comfortable checking it as baggage in this bag.
The only thing is you would have to remove one set of bindings and just sit them in there. _________________ Now that I seen that on this forum, that is the shiznite! |

chaz28o, Yep, that bag.
Thanks for the offer, but I have a bag similar to what you have.
I'm looking for something for flight travel that is durable and can hold multiple set ups. _________________ www.MidwestMilitia.net |

The main thing i would look for would be wheels and padding. There are many companies that have this style of boardbag _________________ www.georgiawakeboardlessons.com |

I picked up my Glass and Powder Coffin bag (I can fit in it, well...almost) and It is huge and padded, the only downside is that it doesn't have wheels. I keep my board (w/ bindings mounted) skate, shoes, helmet, rope, and vest. I've also crammed clothes sleeping bag and pillow in it as well. This thing is HUGE! I picked it up from G & P for like $40 during their 50% off sale, i'd definitely look at that, I've also got an O'brien that I got from evogear.com for about 40, its not as nice, but it gets the job done, I wouldn't let the baggage people w/ any airline have it in the O'brien bag though.
The only down side is I bet G&P isn't around the corner from you, so you won't be able to get it that fast...I hoped this helped, but if it didn't...oh well. |

I have a Neilpryde (sp?) bag that I like. When I travel with my board, I wrap the edges in foam pipe insulation to protect them. So far - so good.

the CWB bag looks ok.
I have a Burton snowboard bag that can fit 2 wakeboards, 3 pairs of bindings, 2 slalom skis, a skateboard plus some more stuff ( lifejackets, ropes etc)
its on wheels too but it weighs a ton with all that stuff in it |

| The Ten-80 board bag we gave away at MWWF was pretty sweet, might want to check into one of those. |
