Does anyone else get up one handed? I know that it's not a trick but sometimes I wave whith one hand while getting up. I guess it's more of a strength thing than any kind of trick.

speaking of the a-10 molded vest from jet pilot, does it have any good floatation in it if any at all? if i fall i want my head to be out of the water without having to tread water before i get my board under me.

Ive tried to start underwater with a wakeboard and its very difficult. Im using an Obrien Vest and its more padded than the A-10 so it floats quite a bit, my board also wants to stay on the top of the water. Its a pain just to sink it below my body for a regular deep water start, or to exit my bindings with the "jump trick". Is there something special I could do to help.

Scorched Ice7, tuck up in a ball, then lean forward, then extend your legs...works for me.

Easier, IMO. You don't get yanked up, you just slide up.

another fun way to get i to try to get up backwards. You have to lay on your face in the water and when the boat begins to pull you up you have to drag your face in the water and the key is keepin the handle down around your ankles. Supid, but something different to ty haha.

A friend of mine got up backwards a few weeks ago. Kinda cool, like you said just something different. He would set up and when he was ready he would just throw his face forward (away fron the boat) and as soon as I saw him start that motion I would hit it. Popped right up the 2nd try. The 1st I was a little late on the take off and he got sideways before the boat took off.
