I can't remember if wakeskating is included in the XGAMES,,

does anyone know?

It's not, but wakeboarding is. I figure it'll only be a matter of time before wakeskating gets in.

It should be in this year, it's big enough in my opinion. On a side note I might go watch the wakeboarding event.

last year at the x games the anouncers were talking bout trying to get it in for this year, but it didn't make it. wakeboarding is this saturday.

wakeskatin wont get in for a while. its not even that great on the pwt and not many people really watch it and im sure even less would watch it at the x games.

wakeskating doesnt look that cool especially if its behind a sea doo, so i think it will take a whil for it to get into the x games.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure wakeskating wont be on their anytime soon. Wakeboarding isnt even considered one of the MAIN events at the X Games, and so I assume wakeskating would be even more difficult to promote due to the fact that its not as popular as wakeboarding.

prior40: you actually listened to the annoucners there, all I heard was them yelling get up and make some noise LBC. I now hate those three letters L B C. EVIL! Also I think wakeskating will be in it in a year or two, the sport is really taking off.

The only thing is to appreciate wakeskating you have to try it to a normal person they would just say why aren't they going big and doings flips and stuff.

I agree with freerider4, most people don't even know a lot about wakeskating, they just think its some jacked up wakeboarder

i think it would be cool for wakeskating to be in the x games but i think u guys are right that nobody could appreciate the difficulty of landing a kickflip on a wakeskate as opposed to landing one on a skateboard

wakskating has grown so much lately and it would be awesome to see it in the xgames but i agree. without having knowledge of the sport people wouldnt know how hard the tricks really are. i bet people there would be like DO A 900!!!!

they should definetly get wakeskating in the X-games, Fredrick Eisenhauer, there are plenty of tricks, you can do some ones you can do wakeboarding and a bunch of new ones like flip tricks and body varials etc.

i doubt that wakeskating will ever be in the xgames...xgames dont even televise wakeboarding so i doubt that they will even promote wakesating

muckmeister, nah. I just like llamas better then alpacas, some of wakeskating.com was split into 2 sections over llamas and alpacas. Very Happy

smlparksguy133, compared to other sports in the x-games, there are bugger all tricks. Anyway, they don't look as appealing as an s-bend or a McTwist or something like that.

i think the x games need to be spread out a little more and the networks need to televise more. as the x games are getting bigger, they are leaving out alot of events and showing a whole motocross race Rolling Eyes

. hopefully wakeskating will be in the x games sometime soon. some of the park skateboard stuff isn't that awesome looking to the general public also, so maybe there is some hope for wakeskating.

Fredrick Eisenhauer, they need to ride behind something that throws a wake first. the first ever wakeskate event n the pwt they used the boat and it was crazy. now its just tricks in the flats which are cool but arent as impressive to the general pulic.
