I know its been asked a million times, and I should search it, but can you turn a skateboard into a wakeskate? Laughing I've taken one of my old decks and put an awesome paintjob on it, and an old wakeboard fin. I've heard because they're so small, there squirly, and you have to go like 30 mph, but is it fun and does it work??? Thanks

BTW-i spraypainted flames on the bottom and put a skull on the base. The skull Buergday has as his avatar, I printed off, cut out, and turned into a stencil. thanks Buergday. on top i painted a red 8 ball and the same skull stencil in white. Heres what it should look like...I'll post pics as soon as Im done.

If you want to do that, just make your own skate. It's not that expensive. You just take some plywood and cut it, bend it, seal it, and paint it. It won't take you much more time than what you're looking to do here and it will actually work instead of suck

You'll never get that thing to float, there's not nearly enuff planing surface for your body weight.

your feet get sucked off too..they hang off the sides unless you angle them outrageously or have smaller feet.

but yes I have tried it too but just for kicks it was not nearly as fun as just messing around on an actual wakeskate. but go for it and if you find out any special secrets that work please share because it would be awesome

Whatever makes you happy. I've heard that it doesn't work from like everyone that I have talked to about it, but if thats what you want to do then do it...

Water Rat,

When you go out next, make sure your buddy has a video camera and shoots a ton of film. Then post it in this forum.

I wanna see what happens........

try an old Hosio deck, those were a bit larger.
