Okay, so I don't have an extended pilon or a tower to ride with on our boat. All we have is the stock pole that is only about four and a half feet high when you stand next to it. Plus the fact that our boat only generates a two foot wake that is very very MELLOW.
What I'm wonder is, can I clear this wake with good height and distance to actually perform some very intermediate tricks such as wake-2-wake grabs, 180's and possibly a back roll? If you can help me out here, I'd greatly appreciate it! _________________ YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEE HAWWWWWWWWWW!!!! |

Go_Ride17, you just gotta go for it man. weve never been on your boat so we dont know what you can do on it. just adjust the speed until u have a good wake then try stuff, start small, then go w2w if you can. then try and thro in some grabs. _________________

Okay, well I've been very limited to riding time lately seeing I dont' live out at the lake. I've been hitting the wake as much as I possibly can with different speeds and distances. I've gone from 15 ft. out and hitting it as hard as i can to hitting it 7 ft. out and getting some height. Is there a specific way i can maximize hangtime? _________________ YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEE HAWWWWWWWWWW!!!! |

| edge all the way up the wake and make sure you straighten your legs out to get a good pop. im pretty sure with enough practice you can clear it and do some grabs. with more practice you could do a tantrum off that size of wake. people do tantrums off of nothing so i would say a tantrum would be easier then backroll |

If definitely possible. We use a fishing boat with the rope tied to the back. Normally the wake is only a foot high but when we take the drain plug out and fill up the boat alittle, have huge bins full of water in the boat and 3-4 people we can get the wake over 2 feet. But I can still clear the 1 foot wake no problem with proper technique. A solid progressive edge slow then faster and faster. Push down hard at the top of the wake (this will make your legs stiff and tall)
It just take practice, more time riding the better you'll get. |

| Go_Ride17, you dont need a tower or big wake to generate pop its all about line tension. a tower and big wake will make it a lot easier but with proper technique you can do whatever tricks you want. |
