Lately the only thing I have been able to ride behind is a sea doo. i don't own a boat. I'v been trying to do w2w and can't seem to get enough air. Is that because of the small wake? Im doing the whole edging thing and not absorbing the pop and everything like that. I can't figure it out?! Confused

Riding behind a seadoo is difficult because there is no wake what so ever. Forget the wakeboard and break out the wakeskate and try surface stuff like lipslides etc.

w2w behind a jet ski is good practice. You have to actually jump the wake. The wake won't ramp you over. If you push off hard and stand tall you should be able to clear it. Behind a jetski is good practice. Work on your 180s and your switch riding. Its easier to land a 180 behind a small wake than a large one.

Yah I just learned a 180 actually last weeknd behind the sea doo... Very Happy i guess i'll just leave the w2w for when im behind a boat. Rolling Eyes I have also been working on my switch... I'm going to need a lot of practice. on my toe edge i can only get over one wake and the other wake pushe me back down. i don't think I have been shifting my weight the right way to do it.???

i can w2w behind a sea doo all day long, the key is speed, its gonna be fast, so get ready for some rough falls, if you pump up the speed a little bit the "wake" gets surprisingly firm giving a nice little bit of pop.... you can do it... its not hard at all Very Happy

just get a lot of weight on the sea doo, but not too much. if it seats 3 people then get 2 on it, if it seats 4 then get 3 people on it

The thing I like about riding behind a jet ski is the turn around time... Like its alot easier to pick up a person that falls behind a jet ski as opposed to a boat...
