Im looking at buying a new Tige Switch V and I looking for some feedback.

Do you have ballasts and if so are the factory?

Did you get taps 2 and whats the difference between taps 2 and taps?

Would you purchase a Tige again?

I don't have a switch but I can answer your questions.

All Tiges come with Taps2. Taps one is from the 2003's and lower years. Taps 2 is on the 2004's and 2005's. I don't think there is a huge difference but either way they have the same purpose and thats not to simulate ballast, but it's to shape the wake. I would purchase a Tige again. If I were you I would definitely go with ballast and get it from the factory so you don't have to worry about putting it in aftermarket after you have ahd the boat for some time. There has been word about a crappy interior but the 2005's are supposed to be nicer. I would definitely buy it if you can get a good deal on it.

Jaydub, i recently purchased the 20v limited - same boat as the switch v other than the obvious cosmetic differences.....no ballast just taps 2 (incredible difference).

not sure - but i don't think there is a ballast option on the switch series boats....

here's a pic of our wake...
